This event is 21 and over

After multiple tours and releases, Southwork decided to record Wear Your Heart Out (8/12/14) on a Tascam MS-16 1′′ tape machine in a Philadelphia row home. WXPN's The Key called the album “...raw and heartfelt, just fuzzy enough to sound like a warp-y dream.” Prior to that, Charleston City Paper referred to Seasons Passing EP (6/27/13) as “a happy-go-lucky effort, complete with light-hearted vocals, playful uke, whimsical whistles, friendly flutes, and an array of horns and harmonies.” Their first record, Arise (12/11/12), was described as “...a cross between Sgt. Pepper’s band and ‘Jocko Homo’-era Devo” by Philadelphia City Paper. The band is currently recording their next album, and drinking too much coffee.
Killer Bangs
There is a good chance that you probably have a lot in common with the Hammill brothers. Jacob and Dylan Hammill enjoy music, the great outdoors, partying, smoking pot, flirting, and a variety of miscellaneous motor-sports. Forming their first band at 16 and 14, respectively, the brothers would qualify for veteran status salaries if they played professional sports. Developing over the years from classic riff-rock to a garage-rock sound based on "guitarmonies", the Hammills never traded originality for popularity. Currently joined on stage by veterans of the Philadelphia music scene; Chris Weyh (The Makes) on guitar and Stephen Clifford (Circa Survive) on drums, the boys have found a band in KILLER BANGS.
