Pink Slip Daddy
Pink Slip Daddy
Coming off one domestic and two import releases this past year, it’s once again time for the annual Pink Slip Daddy Halloween Party celebrating its’ 5th year since the band came off hiatus.
Original Philly punk rockers Pink Slip Daddy, the brainchild of Mick Cancer, Sal Mineo's Only Son, Barb Dwyer and Palmyra Delran, was formed in the late 1980s after its members had intersected in various combos, including Sic Kidz and Das Yahoos.

Originally intended as a solo project for Mick, PSD morphed into a breathing reality, as for several decades the band has delivered wildly received live performances and a series of acclaimed recordings, including Rock Damage And Other Love Songs and the groundbreaking LSD ten-inch vinyl package.
Inactive for periods of time due to other musical obligations, Pink Slip Daddy returned in 2013 to rock action with a vengeance, having played a string of calamitous live shows and also releasing the six-song CD Viva Fabian & More in 2016! (produced by Ben Vaughn and featuring guest saxophonist extraordinaire Big Chief), a rollicking, raucous heartfelt celebration of the music of teen pop idol Fabian Forte and the golden age of Philadelphia rock 'n' roll.

Pink Slip Daddy also released 7” Good Hard Rock bw/ Bristol Stomp and Outskirts in 2016 on Kizmiaz Records in France as well as Viva Fabian! 4 song 7” EP on Munster Records in Spain.
Pink Slip Daddy will be featuring all the songs from their new releases as well as many selections from their extensive catalog as well as more than a few surprises PSD fans have come to expect from their live extravaganzas.

Opening the show will be very special guests Dixy Blood featuring Ms Betty Loo Gee performing a very special performance of their own and adding magic to the evening the way only they can do
The Klitz
The return of the Klitz
Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee and it formed in the nascent days of the 1970s punk uprising, the Klitz have been, until recently, one of the era's best kept secrets.
The all-gurl quartet, comprised of Lesa Aldridge, Amy Gassner and sisters Gail Elise and Marcia Clifton, served up a messy, seductive brand of maverick rock 'n' roll, as well as cultivating associations with cult figures such as Alex Chilton, Tav Falco and James Luther Dickinson.
Leaving behind only sketchy evidence, the Klitz have nonetheless acquired a certain notorious reputation by virtue of legendary chaotic live performances and the release of a four-song EP (recorded by Chilton and Sam the Sham!) which brilliantly captures the band's passion and eccentricities.
Amazingly, after years of on-again off-again (in)activity, they have recently returned to shaking the world and the future promises more recordings and continued recognition for a band once considered a mere footnote now finally achieving chapter.
