This event is 21 and over

Petunia started out as John Ryan’s home recordings but has now morphed into a three piece rock’n’roll fun machine with brothers Nick and Ag Manta rounding out the rhythm section. The three lads recorded a new EP (out 12/1/17) called Dailies at Miner Street Recordings with producer Brian McTear and engineer Matt Poirier. It’s definitely music you can show your mom and/or roller skate to. That should be all you need to know. If anymore information is desired, please express concern
Active Bird Community
Active Bird Community is a Brooklyn band formed in 2005 by members Tom D’Agustino, Zach Slater and Andrew Wolfson when they were in middle school. Over 10 years later, with the addition of Quinn McGovern on drums, Active Bird Community
continues to enliven the stage with their sprightly slacker vibes reminiscent of 90’s indie rock. While ABC was young and experimenting with their sound, early listeners sensed something teeming beneath the surface. In the years since, they’ve released 2 full length albums and played hundreds of shows to adoring fans and delighted newcomers alike. In that time, their sound has gone under numerous revisions—not out of necessity but out of a tacit refusal to stagnate or sound like anything else. As the members matured, fell in (and out) of love, moved around and made their own way, the lyrics and arrangements of each song reflected both the harmony and the discord that comes with growing up in New York. Though, as anyone who’s seen them live can tell you, their music is so infectious you can’t help but lose yourself right along with them.
Thick Red Wine
Philadelphia artist Mike Wojciechowski's (Whoa-juhh-house-key) winding and eccentric narratives draw inspiration from 5th grade recess fights, middle school dance erections, college house party disasters, philosophers and boxed wine, among other things.

Wojciechowski's sophomore album under the Thick Red Wine moniker - the forthcoming Homesick EP - was recorded in Philadelphia before moving the project to San Francisco. It's a raw full-band indie rock affair that extols the gritty survival instinct of a jaded but determined generation.

Always a staunch supporter of accepting people for who they are, celebrating difference, and supporting our society's underrepresented and marginalized voices, Wojciechowski has performed for old and new friends across the country at traditional venues as well as campfires, secret beaches, and countless house venues.

Regardless of the venue, Thick Red Wine thrives on a goosebump-inducing intimacy between audience and performer that's nearly impossible to replicate on a recording.
