The Bailey Hounds
The Bailey Hounds
The Bailey Hounds emerged from the Philadelphia music scene in 2011 with their debut album "Along the Gallows"—a melancholy prowl through a series of Americana compositions, rife with imagery akin to the macabre, the diabolical, and the morose. Teetering on the border of alt-country and indie-rock, The Bailey Hounds prefer to look to the aesthetics of horror films and murder ballads for inspiration, drawing on the often sublime characteristics of the former and lyrical intrigue of the latter.

As of July 2013, The Bailey Hounds celebrated their second official release entitled "All the Blood in the World". The new six-song album offers a much grittier, analog approach, more indicative of the band's live performances. Though not so dissimilar from the dusty atmosphere accomplished on their debut, the new collection of songs proves to ebb and flow between upbeat '70s-style folk rock and dark, brooding ballads.
Northern Arms
Northern Arms
Northern Arms celebrates the release of "Chapel Cabaret" - the goth-americana, 9-piece ensemble's second album, recorded with visionary producer Brian McTear and Matt Poirer (Kurt Vile, War on Drugs, Sharon Van Etten) at the storied, Miner Street Recordings.

"Think of the sumptuous heartbreak deep in the American soul. Think of the powerful ache of yearning, the fleeting lightning-strike of joy. Think of late nights, steam rising off the street outside your 3AM window. Think of Sunday morning, steam rising off a river as slow and inscrutable as myth.
We all live in this blend of spirit and mystery and damned hard reality, but fortunately, intersecting that very same crossroads, are the songs of Northern Arms, seemingly written with the express purpose of reflecting our most fervent dreams."
