Rockers! is a D.I.Y movement offering a space for POC (People of Color) Punks, Political comrades, and Lady Rockers to unite, build community, and to provide a space for bands that are not usually included in the punk and rock scenes across the country. Rockers was established in 2007 by Camae Defstar and Faye Runaway of the Mighty Paradocs, and has remained a force in the underground music scene in Philadelphia.

Shady Hawkins
Shady Hawkins
Shady Hawkins started in 2010 as a band of witches (and witch sympathizers) hell-bent on hexing away all hegemonies.
Downtown Boys
Downtown Boys
Bilingual political sax dance punk party from Providence.
Bad Canoes
Bad Canoes
Experimental pop punk from Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Mighty Paradocs
Mighty Paradocs
The Mighty Paradocs formed in Philadelphia in 2005 featuring the powerful front women Camae Defstar and Faye Runaway. The Mighty Paradocs started as a hip hop duo and soon morphed into their punk rebel rawness. They are backed by drums bass and guitar. The sound they create is as rebellious as the political lyrics they sing about. They mix punk rock roots with reggae and hip hop. The Mighty Paradocs live show is a high energy workout they do not give the audience a moment to breathe.

The Mighty Paradocs are DIY heroes constantly booking shows and tours with like minded artist.
The Kominas
The Kominas
JJX
JJX
Joe Jordan is a contemporary troubadour writing about a modern world. Quite the adept musician, his talent ranges from providing vocals to playing bass and drums, but Joe's first love is guitar. Joe Has The Honor of working with some other very talented professionals such as Guitarist +Singer Jesse Gimbel, Bassist Wisnu Wardhana, and Drummer Jacqui Gore(Joe's Mom) to form his band Joe Jordan's Experiment. Their versatility delivers a fresh element during every performance. So trust me when I say you don't want to miss JJX at their next performances or you'll totally miss out on a rare mind bending experience.
