DMA'S
DMA'S
DMA's (dee-em-ayes) is Johnny Took, Matt Mason and Tommy O'Dell – three friends who came together making nostalgic garage pop in a bedroom in Newtown.

Having met whilst playing in other bands, DMA's are three writers, three mates, three frontmen – all with a common sense of purpose and musicality.

Writing a few songs together, the band demoed them in Johnny's bedroom-studio, gaining instant attention - all before putting out an official track or playing a single show.

After signing with tastemaker label I OH YOU (Violent Soho, Snakadaktal, DZ Deathrays), DMA's released their debut single 'Delete' to rave reviews, with Channel V calling the band "the next big thing", and Triple J adding the track to high rotation.

With NME picking them as a buzz band to watch, Blur's Dave Rowntree naming 'Delete' his Record of the Week on XFM, and the band selling out their first national tour - DMA's have gone from strength to strength.

Having just played a killer set at Splendour In The Grass in July, the band head out on an Australian tour in Sep / Oct - tickets via www.dmasmusic.com

DMA's debut EP is out now through I OH YOU.
The Silence Kit
The Silence Kit
The Silence Kit is a Philadelphia-based post-punk band that plays textured, dark, indie rock. Inspired in equal parts by post punk, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia, avant-garde and indie rock, the band was started by singer/guitarist Patrick McCay back in 2002 as a solo recording project, eventually culminating in the first album "In Regulated Measure" (2006). "A Strange Labor" (2008) and "Dislocations" (2009) followed and "The Stairs" and "In Parts" EPs were released in 2011, each release garnering positive reviews from a variety of press. With each release The Silence Kit's signature sound grows more distinct, while the songwriting and arrangements continue to grow more varied and ambitious. The band's fourth LP "Watershed" is their most accomplished to date. Released on April 8th on Azteca Records / Break Even Records, "Watershed" reflects the band's wide palette of songwriting, mood and texture.
